The best of 2008!!

2008 brought many things to us. So let’s see what’s the best of 2008 on photo bucket (in my opinion).

Twilight came out, and it totally rocked. Sorry there’s a lot of pictures and well I like Twilight.

Batman the Dark Night came to theaters.

Taylor Swift released Love Story

Selena Gomez releases Tell Me Something I don’t know, and a new season of Wizards of Waverly Place starts.

Demi released her first Cd and stared in Camp Rock.

David Cook wins American Idol.

Wall-E comes out.

Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana go on tour, a new season of Hannah Montana, and Miley released a new CD.

All the Twilight saga (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn) are out.

It was released that New Moon would be in theaters November 20th of Next Year, yes that has to do with this year.

Bush had shoes thrown at him, not funny.

Rhianna and Chris Brown get together.

Hancock comes out.

10,000 B.C. comes to theaters.

Kung Fu Panda gets to theaters.

Indian Jones comes out, Twilight was 10 times better, sorry I had to say it.

Tinkerbell gets her own movie and series, OK.

Eagle Eye comes to theaters, I’m sad I didn’t get to see it.

High School Musical 3 comes to theaters.

Jonas Brothers release a new Cd, and go on tour.

Twilight becomes one of the best movies along with Batman The Dark Night.

Camp Rock goes global.

Celtics beat the Lakers for the Championship.

Iron Man goes to theaters.

These are some good things that happened in 2008. If I missed any tell me, I want to be as accurate as possible.

Packers!!

Yes I haven’t wrote about the Pac. in a while. I wonder why. Maybe because they’re losing. Yes, yes I still like them, but their offence can’t do a thing lately. The defence has done all it can. They have given the offence great Field position, touchdowns, interceptions, not letting the other team score. What more do you want!?! Seriously I haven’t seen the offence do much. Last week there was a break through though. Let’s just hope it keeps going. They just need to get into a grove. And quick because the Vikings have been winning, surprisingly. Let’s go Packers. Give it all you’ve got and more.

Packers!!!!!!!!!!!

The Packers won, ow yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already expected it to be close, but that was insane. I mean the touchdown taken away, and the blocked field goal, and the vikings almost winning because a touchdown then that spectacular interception. It was so cool.

Today I didn’t here “Packers Suck!”. It was great. Now I made sure not to gloat, but I enjoyed the day.

Aaron Rodgers loosened up through the game, which was much needed.  Ryan Grant did well too. So did the defence, wow they were great. It toke them awhile to shot down Adrian Peterson it was all up hill from there.

That was an awesome game, and I can’t wait for the rest of the season.

Packer vs. vikings

As you know I am a Packer fan, and am extremely excited about the game on Monday.Though this will not prove who is better, but it will give one team bragging rights (which the Vikings haven’t had for years).

Yes Brett Favre has left the Packers, but there’s no Favre in team (get it LOL). One player doesn’t make a team, and the Vikings proved that with  Adrian Peterson.  What I’ll be watching is who will do better Adrian Peterson, or Ryan Grant. They are both good players. These two will also pressure the defence. The Packers have a good D., but so do the Vikings.

My dad believes the Packers will beat the vikings by 10 points. I think that will be really close game, but the Packers will win in the end.

This will be a good test for Aaron Rodgers. I will be watching the game, believe me this is a big thing. This should be an interesting game to watch for Packer and Viking fans alike.

So either I will here the Packers suck, that’s what you get all the time when you’re a Packer fan in Viking land, or I will get to say “Well there better than the Vikings”.

My favorite Sports.

When people ask me what my favorite sport is I don’t have an answer. I like three sports and all for different reasons.

Basketball is by fair my favorite sport to play. I like how to win a game you need team work. I am an aggressive player, but I play fair. I have learned that people are different off the court than on the court, I am one of those people. I have played many good people who are so nice of the court. Some teams do not like the way I play, but I play the way I do and it’s fair so I’m not changing the way I play just to appeal certain people. I have played one on one with my older brother and have beat him, but he’s a hockey player so it’s fair.




Football is such an amazing sport to watch, but I would not dare play it. Though few people get severely injured playing football, I don’t want to take any chances. Plus, football is a sport meant for guys, and I don’t want to mess with some football playing guys.

The game of football has in some way shape or form been in my life. My dad was born and raised in Wisconsin, and he is a Packer fan ( no surprise you would be an outcast if you were a Viking fan). Since my dad is a Packer fan so am I, and no I am not a Jets fan just because Brett Favre came back, which is a whole other subject. Anyway, the way that football players move so nimbly makes me awestruck.




Now hockey, what isn’t there to like?? People getting checked into the boards and coming right back from the hit. Women’s hockey isn’t as good, the women don’t look as graceful on the ice as the men do, and they don’t hit as hard. My brother was, and still is, a hockey player. He had the hockey hair too. He played with Matt Niskanen in high school. This picture was taken right after Virgina beat Hibbing to go to State.

Now I admit hockey players don’t smell good after a game. My favorite position on hockey is the goalie. I love watching all the moves they do to save the puck. Also you can have a good team and a bad goalie and you might win, or you can have a bad team and you still have a small chance of winning. What I’m saying is Hockey is a team sport that if one position fails it can hurt your team a lot.




So those are my favorite sports. Next time someone asks you what your favorite sport is think a second before you automatically say one sport.
