Basketball Moose Lake vs. Esko

So the Moose Lake seventh grade girls played Esko. It was a fast scoring game for Moose Lake. By the end of the first half Moose Lake had 18 and Esko had 9. The second half was the same, but two three pointers where scored. One for Moose Lake, nice shot Dana, and one for Esko.

I played for awhile. I didn’t score any points, but me defense was fine. I personally like defense better. I am a point guard, so for one I don’t shoot much, and I stay up top. Then for D we played a two three zone and it worked well.

We where supposed to play Hermantown, but since there’s no school we can’t. So tomorrow we are playing Proctor. It should be a good game.

Back to School!!!

School’s tomorrow, and I don’t know if I’m excited or not. I want more summer, but I like seeing my friends. This Summer was so awesome. I feel closer to God now. I got to meet people who brought me to God. Thank you all the cool people I saw at Covenant Park Bible Camp, M.U.U.U.C.E., Basketball camp, and everywhere else. I miss you all so much, and I wish you all went to my school. I’ll have updates on school coming up.

Calvin and Hobbes back to school!!

It’s time for back to school and I thought it would be great to get an opinion on school from a very intelligent icon. Calvin, that’s right the genius of our time. Though he may believe his stuffed tiger is real, he is still a genius (a card carrying genius). Here are some more Calvin and Hobbes comics on school.

School vs. Summer

Interesting topic isn’t it. Well I believe life of nothing but school would be boring, but eventually life of endless summer would too.

Summer is a great time to relax, go to cool camps, meet great people (Ellie, Jackson, Dylan, Mitch, Rachel, Anna, other Jackson, and so many more), watch TV, go swimming, go to Valley far, go to Twins games, and all those other wacky fun stuff people do. We just have to face it life would get boring. I mean you would have already done all the stuff, over, and over, and over. With no school that means no football team, no basketball team, no band, no choir, none of the school groups. And last but not least if there was no school we would all work at McDonald’s. And I don’t want to work at McDonald’s. I can’t stand their food. How could I work there?




Now life of all school means we get good jobs, we are very, very smart, all the school extra curricular, and we get to see our friends all the time. But if there was school all year then there would be homework all year, crankier teachers, ripper gym soaks, more tests, more stress, less time to sleep, more know-it-alls, and less held back people because there wouldn’t be any grades just groups of people at different levels.

So weather you like school or not we need it but we also need summer (and who doesn’t like summer).

Summer just went to quick. Can I rewind the clock to June? Now I’m moving my room upstairs. Buying school supplies isn’t fun when for the first year you don’t have a list of stuff.

this year I’ll be a seventh grader. I’ve heard bad things about being a sevie, but i just think those people are over exaggerating. Hope fully ti will be OK.
