Converse

I used to not be able to stand converse all stars, but now I love them. They are the perfect summer sneaker, and they can get wet. My dad has told me stories about him and his friends going to the lake and climbing on the rocks with there chucky T’s on. I like walking in the water, and my shoes get dirty really quickly so chuck Taylor’s are the perfect shoes.

I just got a pair of chuck Taylor’s and I love them. They are comfortable, and light. Now I must admit that they are not the best running shoes, but they are nice for just walking.

I think one cool thing about chuck Taylor’s is all the colors. I mean they come in about every color, and now they have patterns. I have a pair that are brown with red and white. They are plaid. I love them so much because if you are far away they look black, and black goes with everything.

My new story.

I went for a walk yesterday, even though it was raining. So I was walking to the lake to take some pictures, and i must admit they were cool. While I was walking and looking at the sky and nature around me I thought of a story. I must say it is slightly sad, but it will be cool to see where it goes. It is about a girl in the future in this secret organization. It is going to be short, but it will be OK. It might not have a major plot, but it will have a lot of detail.

So if you have any details leave a comment. I am always up for them, and I could use them.

Basketball!!

So I just got back from practice. It was pretty good. We ran our play over and over and over. I think I will remember it now, well I would hope I do. Why do we have practice you ask. Well I will answer that, we have practice because we have pace-setters. I know, what is pace-setters? Pace-setters is a basketball tournament that schools from around the area are invited to. Then we play each other to see who will get first. If you get first then you go on. It is cool. The closet we can was playing for third…we lost.

Any way we have our pace-setters tournament this weekend. It will be cool, and we hopefully do well. Keep your fingers crossed though because Esko, Barnum, and Cloquet will be there. They will be a challenge, in fact two of those teams beat us.

Personally I like pace-setters. It is challenging. Also the last two times we have been there Ely has been there. Well I used to go to Ely, and I got to see some people I haven’t seen in a long time.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I thought I would wish you all a Happy St. Patrick’s Day. And as usual I am putting pictures with it.

I’m the typr of person who…

I wish that this wasn’t true but I feel it implies. I am like this. I hat few, love many, will forgive but not forget, the laughing at the stupidest thing isn’t that true, I worry about others more than myself, I’ll try to make you laugh when you are sad, I’ll dance in the rain, and I’ll hide my pain behind a smile  just so no one can see the pain. So let’s see that’s the whole quote. I guess it’s a good thing to have these qualities, but it’s herd because the last line happens a lot. You are who you are, you act how you act, and people still can’t accept that. It’s hard but it’s true.

Basketball Moose Lake vs. Esko

So the Moose Lake seventh grade girls played Esko. It was a fast scoring game for Moose Lake. By the end of the first half Moose Lake had 18 and Esko had 9. The second half was the same, but two three pointers where scored. One for Moose Lake, nice shot Dana, and one for Esko.

I played for awhile. I didn’t score any points, but me defense was fine. I personally like defense better. I am a point guard, so for one I don’t shoot much, and I stay up top. Then for D we played a two three zone and it worked well.

We where supposed to play Hermantown, but since there’s no school we can’t. So tomorrow we are playing Proctor. It should be a good game.

Okay the official music video is better, but I can’t put it on here. I like this song. I didn’t really watch American Idol so I like both David Cook and David Archulets. I like this song, it’s in the top one hundred. Maybe the top ten, I don’t know. Anyway love, love this song.

I see something in David Cook. I different from what I see in David Archuleta, but he has talent. I must admit I’m surprised. Well I hope you like it, wait I know you will.

David Archulets

OMG I love this song. It’s definitely in my top ten. Off course I think I don’t have a top ten, more like a top hundred. Anyway, one of my friends wanted David Cook to win and she said David Archuleta was bad. Guess what now she really likes this song. I love this song and believe that David Archuleta has real talent. It’s amazing to see all the stars from American Idol after word.

I see David Archuleta accomplishing great things, and he’ll be around for awhile.

Braces 2!!!

Well my teeth aren’t sore any more, but now only certain teeth hurt. See I’m wearing a wire that expands my upper arch of my teeth. So now more teeth are moving and they are very sensitive. Both of the two that hurt are in front. So biting is hard.

The thing that’s worse is that it’s Halloween and I can’t eat half the candy that’s being given out. So I’m not going trick-or-treating. Instead I’ll see if I can go to the Halloween dance at willow river. Now this is a high school dance not an elementary dance. Which means it’s much better.

Anyway, for the first couple days people said I look weird with braces, but they got used to it. I still think I look weird, but I’ll like it better when the braces are off. After the year and a half, of course.

So do you have braces? If so do you like them? Do you think they make you look weird? Let us see…..

Now if you just got braces it does get better after awhile. You just have to learn what you can and can’t do. And the soreness will go away after about a week.

Baseball vs. Golf

I’m not a huge fan off baseball or golf. I just thought it would be an interesting topic.

I’m not a huge fan of baseball. I went to one Twins game, it was OK. I’m just not that intrested in watching people hitting the ball and running bases. I played softball, but it wasn’t my thing. My parents came to games and said they really didn’t enjoy it. It is way better ro play than watch though. So I wouldn’t tell anyone not to try baseball. Now baseball may not be my favorite sport but it’s better than golf.

Now golf, that is one of the most uninteresting sports I’ve seen. i mean, you’re watching people hit a ball so many yards to get it into a hole. There’s a plus side, you get to ride in cool carts.

I’m sure it’s OK to play, but I’ve never tried ( and don’t plan on it). I’ve seen Tiger Woods, and yes he’s good, but it’s not like watching football, or hockey.

So there’s my opinion on both. Over all I believe I would chose baseball over golf, but that’s just me.
