Boston on to round TWO!!!

So I have no TV, I know bummer. So since I have no TV I had to listen to the game on the radio, I guess it was ok. My dad likes every team but the Celtics, but I on the other hand love the Celtics (mostly because KG is there). So we where listening to the game and my dad is going on that one of the players should be out of the game.

Well anyway, we were listening and i could feel the adrenaline running through my viens. I was all excited when the Celtics kept regaining the lead. And then they won. I was like, “YES!!!!!!”

So now they are on to round two, o yeah babe. Celtics all the way. I just hope KG gets better. BTW Allen was red hot after his first game. I mean that man was on fire. It was like he didn’t miss a shot. And big baby, wow an amazing performance all the way for him.

GO BOSTON!!! GO CELTICS!!! WE ARE GOING ALL THE WAY, NOW LET’S SEE WHO WILL STAND IN OUR WAY!!! O YEAH BABY ALL THE WAY AGAIN, LET’S ROCK IT CELTICS!!

Basketball!!

So I just got back from practice. It was pretty good. We ran our play over and over and over. I think I will remember it now, well I would hope I do. Why do we have practice you ask. Well I will answer that, we have practice because we have pace-setters. I know, what is pace-setters? Pace-setters is a basketball tournament that schools from around the area are invited to. Then we play each other to see who will get first. If you get first then you go on. It is cool. The closet we can was playing for third…we lost.

Any way we have our pace-setters tournament this weekend. It will be cool, and we hopefully do well. Keep your fingers crossed though because Esko, Barnum, and Cloquet will be there. They will be a challenge, in fact two of those teams beat us.

Personally I like pace-setters. It is challenging. Also the last two times we have been there Ely has been there. Well I used to go to Ely, and I got to see some people I haven’t seen in a long time.

David Cook wins American Idol.

Wall-E comes out.

Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana go on tour, a new season of Hannah Montana, and Miley released a new CD.

All the Twilight saga (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn) are out.

It was released that New Moon would be in theaters November 20th of Next Year, yes that has to do with this year.

Bush had shoes thrown at him, not funny.

Rhianna and Chris Brown get together.

Hancock comes out.

10,000 B.C. comes to theaters.

Kung Fu Panda gets to theaters.

Indian Jones comes out, Twilight was 10 times better, sorry I had to say it.

These are some good things that happened in 2008. If I missed any tell me, I want to be as accurate as possible.

Basketball Moose Lake vs. Esko

So the Moose Lake seventh grade girls played Esko. It was a fast scoring game for Moose Lake. By the end of the first half Moose Lake had 18 and Esko had 9. The second half was the same, but two three pointers where scored. One for Moose Lake, nice shot Dana, and one for Esko.

I played for awhile. I didn’t score any points, but me defense was fine. I personally like defense better. I am a point guard, so for one I don’t shoot much, and I stay up top. Then for D we played a two three zone and it worked well.

We where supposed to play Hermantown, but since there’s no school we can’t. So tomorrow we are playing Proctor. It should be a good game.

NBA!!!

Hay it’s basketball season again!!!!!! This is so sweet another year for the Celtics, ow what’s that they’ve got competition. Well duh!!! With all the great draft picks and the lost of a slightly important player, duh there is going to be composition.

The Celtics won it all last year against the Lakers. I watched every game, and they where amazing. The trio, Kevin Garnet, Ray Allen, and Paul Peirce, there team was unstoppable. In those games there where amazing dunks, unbelievable comebacks, injured player, the revive of Paul Pierce, all that. I think the Celtics could win it all again, but I’m questioning that. What do you think??

My favorite Sports.

When people ask me what my favorite sport is I don’t have an answer. I like three sports and all for different reasons.

Basketball is by fair my favorite sport to play. I like how to win a game you need team work. I am an aggressive player, but I play fair. I have learned that people are different off the court than on the court, I am one of those people. I have played many good people who are so nice of the court. Some teams do not like the way I play, but I play the way I do and it’s fair so I’m not changing the way I play just to appeal certain people. I have played one on one with my older brother and have beat him, but he’s a hockey player so it’s fair.




Football is such an amazing sport to watch, but I would not dare play it. Though few people get severely injured playing football, I don’t want to take any chances. Plus, football is a sport meant for guys, and I don’t want to mess with some football playing guys.

The game of football has in some way shape or form been in my life. My dad was born and raised in Wisconsin, and he is a Packer fan ( no surprise you would be an outcast if you were a Viking fan). Since my dad is a Packer fan so am I, and no I am not a Jets fan just because Brett Favre came back, which is a whole other subject. Anyway, the way that football players move so nimbly makes me awestruck.




Now hockey, what isn’t there to like?? People getting checked into the boards and coming right back from the hit. Women’s hockey isn’t as good, the women don’t look as graceful on the ice as the men do, and they don’t hit as hard. My brother was, and still is, a hockey player. He had the hockey hair too. He played with Matt Niskanen in high school. This picture was taken right after Virgina beat Hibbing to go to State.

Now I admit hockey players don’t smell good after a game. My favorite position on hockey is the goalie. I love watching all the moves they do to save the puck. Also you can have a good team and a bad goalie and you might win, or you can have a bad team and you still have a small chance of winning. What I’m saying is Hockey is a team sport that if one position fails it can hurt your team a lot.




So those are my favorite sports. Next time someone asks you what your favorite sport is think a second before you automatically say one sport.
